About the role
This role sits within the Credit & Risk pillar, independent of origination. It is the analytical engine behind our credit decisions.
Judgement matters as much as arithmetic: we expect you to say plainly what is missing from a file.
What you will do
- Analyse borrower financials, cash flow, business viability and collateral.
- Prepare credit appraisal memos and committee recommendations, including risk rating and pricing or structuring input.
- Support investment analysis and valuation work for structured or on-lending facilities.
- Conduct KYC, credit-bureau and reference verification.
- Monitor assigned portfolio performance and covenant compliance; flag early-warning signals.
- Support provisioning, early-warning processes and credit MI reporting.
What we are looking for
- One to four years in credit analysis, lending or financial analysis.
- Strong financial-statement and Excel skills.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics.
Helpful, not required
- CFA Level I or part-ACA
- Exposure to the Nigerian regulatory and financing landscape
